A restaurant that celebrates the cuisine, culture and traditions of Karnataka. In Kannada, "Oota aita?" (Have you eaten?) is more than just a greeting. It's an ice-breaker, a question of general concern, and a symbol of Karnataka hospitality. If it's from Total Environment, you can expect it to be sensitively designed, completely personal, and totally original. **About the Role**: We are looking for a passionate Commis Chef with specialisation in **coffee preparation and South Indian cuisine**. Along with your expertise, you will support the broader kitchen team to deliver high-quality food and beverages that enhance our guest experience. **Key Responsibilities**: - Prepare and serve a variety of **coffee beverages** with consistency. - Cook authentic **South Indian dishes** maintaining traditional taste and presentation. - Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations and food production. - Maintain hygiene, health, and safety standards at all times. - Assist with inventory management and timely service for guests. - Flexibly contribute to other kitchen sections when required. **Who We’re Looking For**: - 2+ years of experience in hospitality, preferably in coffee and South Indian cuisine. - Passion for both culinary arts and beverages. - Strong attention to detail and recipe adherence. - A team player with a positive and collaborative attitude. - Guest-focused mindset with a drive to deliver excellence.
