Since opening in September 2012, Windmills has become a place where friends and family come together to enjoy craft beer, delicious food, and beautiful music from around the world. As we celebrate our 11th anniversary, we reflect on the wonderful friends we've made and the joyful moments we've shared.
Our other offering, our labour of love, Oota Bangalore. A restaurant that celebrates the cuisine, culture and traditions of Karnataka.
In Kannada, "Oota aita?" (Have you eaten?) is more than just a greeting. It's an ice-breaker, a question of general concern, and a symbol of Karnataka hospitality. Using that warmth and graciousness as inspiration, we created Oota, a dining experience that features hyper-local Karnataka cuisine.

**Your Role in Our Story**
As a Commis Chef at TEHPL, you play a crucial role in maintaining culinary excellence and upholding our standards of quality and creativity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the executive chef, sous chef, line chefs as well as other kitchen employees in food production
- Assist kitchen staff in maintaining high cuisine standards for function clients as well as delegates.
- Adhere to all recipes, methods and instructions from the Head / Chef De Partie/ Demi Chef De Partie.
- Assist the chefs in the production of different foods for example vegetables, meats and pastries.
- Assist the chef in ensuring that food is prepared and served to the clients on time.
- Assist the chef in ensuring that health and safety standards are upheld in the kitchen.
- Assist the chef in making requisitions for food.
**Who We Are Looking For**:
- Passion for Culinary Arts: Demonstrated enthusiasm for cooking and a commitment to maintaining high culinary standards.
- Detail-Oriented: Ability to follow recipes precisely, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Team Player: Collaborative attitude, willing to support colleagues and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Hospitality Focus: Dedication to delivering exceptional service and enhancing guest experiences through culinary excellence.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role within the hospitality industry, showcasing a track record of culinary skill and growth.
