**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop, document, and execute test strategies, plans, and test cases for ETL processes and data pipelines.
- Perform **data validation and reconciliation** between source and target systems to ensure data accuracy.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and design test solutions.
- Conduct performance, functional, regression, and integration testing for ETL workflows.
- Automate ETL testing processes and scripts using tools or custom frameworks.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using defect-tracking tools; work with the development team to resolve issues.
- Verify data transformations, data quality rules, and ensure compliance with business requirements.
- Create and maintain test data and environments for various testing needs.
- Analyze and report test results, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- **4+ years of experience** in Quality Assurance with a focus on ETL testing.
- Proficiency in SQL and ability to write complex queries for data validation and testing.
- Strong knowledge of **ETL processes** and tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with database systems (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
- Experience in testing data transformations, data mapping, and data migration projects.
- Hands-on experience with **QA tools** like JIRA, Selenium, or similar.
- Knowledge of testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and defect management processes.
- Ability to create and execute test scripts for data validation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for data visualization testing.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services.
- Familiarity with programming languages like Python or Java for test automation.
- Understanding of data governance and compliance standards.
