**Job Description: Civil Draftsman**

**Position Overview**:
A Civil Draftsman is a key member of the engineering team responsible for creating accurate technical drawings and plans for civil engineering projects. This role involves translating conceptual designs into detailed schematics using computer-aided design (CAD) software. The Civil Draftsman plays a crucial role in ensuring that engineering designs are effectively communicated to construction teams and regulatory authorities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Drafting and Design**: Produce detailed drawings, plans, and diagrams based on engineering designs and specifications using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical drawings.
- **Drawing Preparation**: Prepare and assemble drawings sets including site plans, elevations, sections, and details following industry standards and project guidelines.
- **Review and Revision**: Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant codes and standards. Incorporate revisions and modifications as directed by project engineers or managers.
- **Documentation**: Maintain organized documentation of drawings, revisions, and project specifications. Ensure all drawings are properly labeled, archived, and accessible for reference.
- **Quality Control**: Conduct quality checks on drawings to ensure they meet project requirements and adhere to regulatory guidelines.
- **Communication**: Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to clarify design requirements, resolve issues, and coordinate project activities.
- **Site Support**: Occasionally visit project sites to gather information, verify measurements, and provide support during construction activities.

**Qualifications**:

- Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD
- Solid understanding of civil engineering principles, construction techniques, and architectural standards.
- Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings within specified deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
- Diploma or degree in drafting technology, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven 3 to 4 years experience in civil drafting or related roles is advantageous.

**Salary**: ₹12,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
