**Experience & Skills Required**:

- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in the seismic industry as an Observer
- Proficient in the operation and maintenance of modern recording instruments (Sercel, Innova, etc.)

**Key Responsibilities / KRAs**:

- Operate recording instruments for 3D seismic data acquisition
- Perform online quality control (QC) to ensure the accuracy and integrity of recorded seismic data
- Identify and replace faulty ground equipment to maintain operational efficiency
- Monitor and maintain QC standards by tracking open channels percentage
- Conduct daily equipment checks and maintain detailed test records
- Plan and organize the next day’s recording operations
- Identify and document damaged or malfunctioning equipment encountered during daily operations
- Ensure scheduled maintenance of all seismic equipment is performed on time
