Position Title: Purchase Associate

Department: Purchase

Reporting: Clinical & Non Clinical Directors, Dental World

No. of Reportees:3

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree/Master’s degree Experience: 2-5 years

This is to inform that the Purchase Associate key responsibility has been given in detail and individual is expected to carry out these specific responsibilities within regular clinical hours.

Role & Responsibilities:

- To maintain knowledge of trends, prices, vendors and delivery status to understand the subsequent stock availability.
- To negotiate with the vendors and ensure the purchase of the required quantity are done at the best cost.
- To review purchase orders and contracts for compliance with company and departmental policies.
- Document daily deliveries and shipment to update inventory department.
- To keep check on stationery material, house-keeping material, Dental equipments and requirements.
- Management of Clinical Inventory as per the given circumstance.
- Keep a record of all bills, most importantly the AMC bills.
- Coordinate with Inventory department to prepare database for purchase and expenditure flow of every month.
- Analyze the potential problems related to Inventory and find the best solution.
- Prepare detailed reports on the operations, stock maintenance and adjustments of the resource.
- To collaborate with sales and logistics department to improve efficiency in the purchase department.
- To communicate with suppliers to resolve problems that may arise regarding the quality, delivery, price or condition.
- To ensure Inventory at all clinics is maintained.
- To ensure that there is no misuse or wastage of Inventory materials.
- To build up strategies to implement cost effective measures for the company.
- Maintain a record of the purpose of consumption.
- To conduct Inventory audit at each centre.
- To update Senior Management time to time regarding the purchase reports..
- Design and implement an inventory tracking system to improve inventory control measures
- Maintain records of monthly consumption of Inventory/ Stocks and prepare a budget for the same.
- To set authorization limits for purchasing materials.
- To take up other responsibilities as assigned from time to time.

- Punctuality should be present to abide by clinical hours.
- Polite talking style with patient with courtesy
- No personal discussion on front desk
- No comments or personal opinion on any patient
- Well dressed and appearance
- No rude communication in person or over call

**Salary**: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month

- Day shift

- Kolkata, West Bengal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:
