Job Summary
As a Field Sales and Marketing Executive, your primary role is to actively engage with potential customers in the field, promote products or services, and drive sales growth. You will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. This position requires excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to work independently and thrive in a dynamic and target-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Field Sales Activities:
Conduct regular field visits to proactively generate leads, identify new business opportunities, and engage with potential customers.
Present and demonstrate products or services to prospects, highlighting their features, benefits, and unique selling points.
Actively pursue sales opportunities by negotiating and closing deals with customers.
Establish and maintain a strong sales pipeline by consistently following up on leads and inquiries.
Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets within the designated territory or market segment.
Relationship Building and Customer Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, providing personalized attention and support.
Understand customer needs, requirements, and challenges, and provide appropriate solutions.
Conduct regular customer visits to strengthen relationships, address concerns, and identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
Act as a primary point of contact for customers, responding to inquiries, providing product information, and resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
Keep updated records of customer interactions, sales activities, and follow-up actions using CRM software.
Marketing Support:
Collaborate with the marketing team to execute marketing strategies and campaigns in the field.
Distribute marketing materials, such as brochures, flyers, and samples, to potential customers during field visits.
Provide feedback and insights from the field to the marketing team to improve campaign effectiveness and customer targeting.
Participate in industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows to promote products or services and generate leads.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to contribute to marketing and sales strategies.
Sales and Activity Reporting:
Prepare regular sales reports, including territory performance, sales achievements, and forecasts.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities in the CRM system.
Provide feedback and insights on market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to the sales and marketing teams.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to analyze data, identify areas for improvement, and recommend sales and marketing strategies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in field sales and marketing roles, preferably in the same industry.
- Strong knowledge of sales and marketing principles, strategies, and techniques.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
- Self-motivated and target-driven with the ability to work independently.
- Adaptability and resilience to work in a dynamic and changing environment.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales and marketing tools.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the designated territory.
- Ability to analyze data, interpret market trends, and make data-driven decisions.
**Salary**: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
