Site Supervisor

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Project Supervision**:

- Oversee the day-to-day activities on the horticulture project site, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Supervise the work of landscaping teams, gardeners, and other site personnel, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and horticultural best practices.
- Ensure that all project milestones are met within agreed timelines, and any delays are managed appropriately.
- Ensure that the site is properly maintained and kept organized at all times.
- **Quality Control & Compliance**:

- Monitor and ensure the quality of all horticultural work performed on-site, including planting, irrigation, pest control, and garden maintenance.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and industry regulations.
- Ensure that all materials and equipment used meet the required quality standards and specifications.
- **Team Leadership & Coordination**:

- Lead, train, and motivate site staff, including gardeners, laborers, and subcontractors, ensuring a high level of productivity and quality.
- Coordinate with other departments (procurement, logistics, and project management) to ensure the timely availability of materials, tools, and resources.
- Ensure proper delegation of tasks based on skills and experience of team members.
- **Health & Safety Management**:

- Enforce safety measures on-site to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular safety checks and provide training to staff on the use of tools, equipment, and chemicals.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations related to horticultural practices.
- **Reporting & Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, project progress, and any issues encountered on-site.
- Provide regular reports on project status, challenges, and resource requirements to the Project Manager or Operations Manager.
- Document work completed, materials used, and labor hours, ensuring accurate project tracking and billing.
- **Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting**:

- Identify and resolve on-site issues such as resource shortages, technical difficulties, or design changes in collaboration with the project team.
- Troubleshoot problems with irrigation systems, planting, pest control, and other horticultural elements, ensuring prompt and efficient solutions.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Landscaping, Agriculture, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role in the horticulture, landscaping, or agriculture industry.
- Knowledge of horticultural practices, including planting, irrigation, pest management, and soil health.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations in horticulture and landscaping.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and adapt to the physical demands of the job.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certification in horticulture or landscaping management.
- Experience working with large-scale landscaping projects or public green spaces.
- Experience with sustainable horticulture practices, including water conservation and organic pest management.
- First Aid and/or other safety certifications.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Morning shift

Willingness to travel:

- 50% (preferred)

Work Location: In person
