Atlassian Administrator (JIRA/Bitbucket)

Experience Required: 5 - 8 Years

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Develop and modify scripts (Perl, Bitbucket REST API) to automate user deactivation based on inactivity and monitor project/repository permissions using commit timestamps.
- Reprovision Bitbucket test servers quarterly using Jenkins; validate functionality before scheduling and executing production server reprovisioning.
- Perform bi-annual upgrades of Bitbucket in a test environment, including version upgrades, Terraform and Artifactory updates, plugin compatibility checks, and stakeholder testing and sign-off. Coordinate Jenkins-based production deployments post-validation.
- Write automation scripts using Perl and REST APIs (Confluence, Atlassian Access) to manage user access based on login activity.
- Experience or familiarity with tools like BigPicture, EasyBI, Report2Web is an advantage.

**Required Skills**:

- 5+ years of hands-on experience with JIRA administration and Bitbucket (Data Center versions).
- Proven expertise in Jira/Bitbucket upgrades, user and permission automation, and re-provisioning using Jenkins.
- Proficient in Groovy, Java scripting, and Perl.
- Experience implementing SSO (Single Sign-On) for Atlassian tools.
- Solid problem-solving, root cause analysis, and time management skills.

- Jenkins

**Good to Have**:

- Tomcat, Git, Source Tree, Linux, Terraform, Azure AD SSO, Oracle Database

**Preferred Qualification**:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
