**Key Responsibilities**:

- **General Accounting**:

- Assist in maintaining and updating the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all entries.
- Process day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and expense tracking.
- Record journal entries and ensure proper documentation for all financial transactions.
- **Account Reconciliation**:

- Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other financial accounts on a regular basis.
- Ensure that all discrepancies are identified, investigated, and resolved in a timely manner.
- **Financial Reporting**:

- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring they are accurate and compliant with accounting standards.
- Prepare and maintain financial records, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial summaries.
- Assist in closing the monthly and year-end accounting cycles.
- **Invoice Management**:

- Process incoming invoices from vendors and ensure timely payments according to terms.
- Verify invoice details, including prices, quantities, and terms, and resolve any discrepancies.
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up with clients for timely collections.
- **Tax Compliance & Filings**:

- Assist in preparing tax-related documents, including VAT, GST, and other tax filings.
- Ensure that tax-related records are up-to-date and in compliance with local and national regulations.
- **Payroll Processing (if applicable)**:

- Support payroll processing, ensuring that employee salaries, bonuses, and deductions are correctly calculated.
- Ensure compliance with statutory deductions and prepare payroll-related reports.
- **Audit Support**:

- Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and supporting data.
- Implement internal control measures to safeguard financial assets and ensure compliance with company policies.
- **Administrative Support**:

- Assist with day-to-day administrative duties in the accounting department, such as filing, organizing, and maintaining financial records.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial processes are adhered to and data is accurately recorded.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as an Accounting Executive, Accounting Assistant, or in a similar role.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
