USDM team manages the implementation of best in class data quality measurement programs across globe in retail consumer bank. The critical areas we support:

- ** Regulatory Support**: Execution of business data quality measurements as per regulatory programs like CCAR, AML etc
- ** Metrics Design**: Identification of critical data elements in different systems, data quality rules design, Testing and validation of rules
- ** Data Governance**: Standardization of data definitions and ensuring consistency in measurement as per definitions across systems/products/regions
- ** DQ Scorecards**: Publishing monthly/quarterly score cards at country level and preparing executive summary reports for senior management
- ** Data Ownership**: Identifying trusted data sources, data owners and consumers across process and products
- ** Metadata Management**: Standardize in providing organizational understanding of business terms and usage, Collect & Integrate metadata from diverse sources and provide standard way to access metadata by maintaining data dictionaries, data catalogs etc.
- ** DCRM (Data Concerns and Remediation Management)**: Identifying defects and investigating root causes for different issues. Following up with stakeholders for resolution as per SLA
- ** Audit Support**: Identifying cases on control gaps, policy breaches and providing data evidence for audit completion

**Expertise Required**:
**Analytical / Project management Skills**

As a Mortgage SME - As an individual contributor:

- Should focus on strategic remediation of major data defects impacting our NAM Citi Mortgage loan process from origination through on-boarding, servicing, regulatory compliance and regulatory reporting.
- Responsible for the completeness and accuracy of relevant data elements and/or files (collectively “relevant data”) residing in technical environments
- Partner with stakeholders to deliver on NAM Mortgage MRA Book of work to ensure regulatory and reporting compliance
- Build and understand the current state of NAM Citi Mortgage data flow architecture and leverage this artifact for strategic resolution of Mortgage data concerns
- Define the scope for data certification and prioritize regulatory reports impacting Mortgage business
- Ensure that NAM Citi Mortgage data is fit for its intended purpose
- Define authoritative data sources for NAM Mortgage LOB data under Citi Governance Policy
- Establish/execute a data certification process consistent with Citi Governance Policy
- Ensure data Lineage mapping is completed for Citi Mortgage data
- Capture the end-to-end concepts and qualifiers associated with the Mortgage process
- Design and capture metrics around all active NAM Citi Mortgage data concerns reported to ensure effective DO strategic overview.

Identify all Mortgage Critical data Elements (CDEs) and ensure they have preventive and detective controls

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Mapping CDEs to appropriate processes, Data Domains, Data Concepts, and Data Sources and maintain accurate business process maps.
- Reviewing business glossary with the Process Owner and publish it to enterprise Metadata Repository.
- Support Data Custodians, Data Stewards to manage and update data dictionaries.
- Lead efforts to implement or modify necessary policies, procedures and system enhancements to fill current and future Data Governance Gaps
- Champion and execute the business’ strategic data plan and policy to improve data governance
- Subject Matter Expert on data management policy, data standards, Issue Management ,Data Quality and other data-related policies and standards.
- Understand concerns, challenges and roadblocks team is facing and provide them all the required support to overcome the same.

- Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint

**Domain Skills**

Good understanding of
- Banking domain - Having strong exposure/experience in Mortgage business
- Audit Framework
- Data quality framework
- Risk & control Metrics
- (preferred) _- Knowledge of Finance Regulations, Understanding of Audit Process

Nice to Have Skills:

- Exposure to BI tools and technologies - example: Tableau or Cognos or SAS BI or Qlikview, etc.
- Automation and process re-engineering / optimization skills

**Soft Skills**
- Ability to identify, clearly articulate and solve complex business problems and present them to the senior management or partners in a structured and simpler form
- Should have excellent communication and inter-personal skills
