**About the Role**:
The Area Executive is accountable for identifying and delivering business growth through a customer base of dental practices in a defined geography, building net sales, product mix, and growing overall consumption of Colgate products. With the increased trend for virtual/remote customer engagement, the AE is expected to navigate and fully leverage both selling environments. The expectation is that approximately 30% of customer engagements would be remote, so proficiency in verbal/written communication & influence as well as emerging digital tools is critical.
**Specific Responsibilities**:
- Develop Colgate Professional Business through In Office Sales and Dentist Prescription based demand generation at Pharmacies for Oral Care specialized products
- Updates all relevant CRM databases with relevant account contact information product detailing activity, sampling activity, brand usage and brand recommendation preference information and feedback about Colgate.Responsible for maintaining accounts and contacts records in CRM system ensure data privacy compliance for all initiatives
- Build and grow relationships with Dental practices that will drive sales
- Consistently identify and engage new business opportunities
- Develop, with the support of a Area Manager, territory business plan prioritizing largest/most profitable opportunities.
- Build,Mentor and maintain successful working relationships with Marketing, 3rd party's Sales Force, and Dental Professionals to deliver business results
- Represent Colgate Oral Pharmaceuticals at dental conventions, local dental/hygiene associations & study clubs and dental/ hygiene schools
- Educate customers through detailing and in-clinic seminars/lunch & learns on the superior efficacy and value of Colgate professional portfolio
**Required Qualifications**:
- Bachelor Degree
- 3 plus years experience in pharma,dental sales
- Excellent communication skills (internal and external, all levels)
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Sales experience in the dental/pharma/fmcg industry and/or medical devices
- Knowledge and understanding of the competitive landscape in healthcare products
- 3rd party mentoring & handling experience
- B2B, Pharmacy sales or Dental Office Experience
