- **
- This area is a key function within the Bank, producing regular reporting and harnessing data by working closely with multiple areas, to help provide data insight to improve both the customer and colleague experience._
- Responsibilities_
- _Updating, managing and running current reporting processes and systems, particularly relating to SAS_
- _Reviewing output, populating templates and investigating defects_
- _Investigating and providing explanation of DQI fails and reconciliation variances_
- _Updating issues log_
- _Becoming an SME for source and golden source systems_
- _Working with the business data owners / stewards to understand requirements and implement future controls_
- _Working in line with internal control and governance practice_
- _Awareness and understanding of business impact of DQIs for BCBS239 and criticality on operation for any related failures_
- _Supporting data quality reviews with asset managers, owners and their data stewards._
- _Developing current SAS reports_
- _Working to automate current monthly reports_
- _Managing relationships with key data owners / stewards in order to improve data quality reporting_

- Qualifications we seek in you_
- Minimum Qualifications_
- _Graduation Degree or equivalent level qualification_
- Preferred Qualifications/ Skills_
- _A working knowledge of SAS Enterprise Guide / SQL is essential_
- _Retail / Corporate banking experience_
- _Basic understanding of banking products such as loans, mortgages, current and savings accounts_
- _Understanding of reporting requirements within the Banking industry_
- _A good understanding of the role that data quality plays in a business and the need to “get it right”_
- _Knowledge of data visualization tools such as MicroStrategy or Qlikview is desirable_
