
Parents Relationship Officer

**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Parent Communication**:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for parents, addressing queries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
- Facilitate regular communication between parents and the school regarding student progress, events, and important updates.
- Organize and host parent-teacher meetings, workshops, and events to strengthen school-parent partnerships.
- **Relationship Building**:
- Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with parents, ensuring their concerns and suggestions are heard and addressed.
- Promote a positive and inclusive school culture by working collaboratively with parents to create a supportive community for students.
- Assist in conflict resolution when necessary, mediating any misunderstandings or disputes between parents and school staff.
- **Event Coordination**:
- Assist in organizing and coordinating school events, parent meetings, open houses, and extracurricular activities.
- **Data Management and Reporting**:
- Maintain detailed records of parent interactions, feedback, and concerns.
- Provide regular reports to school leadership on parent engagement, areas for improvement, and any emerging trends or issues.
- **Support Student Development**:
- Work closely with the teaching staff to ensure that parents are well-informed about their child’s academic progress, behavior, and overall development.
- Collaborate with other school departments to ensure that parent concerns related to students are addressed and followed up on appropriately.
- **Promote School Mission & Values**:
- Help parents understand and align with the school’s mission, vision, and educational goals.
- Provide information and resources to parents to support their child’s learning and development at home.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education & Experience**:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Communication, Social Work, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in customer service, public relations, or a similar role, preferably in an educational environment.
- **Skills & Competencies**:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage parents from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a calm, empathetic approach to conflict resolution.
- Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
- **Personal Attributes**:
- Professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- A passion for education and a commitment to creating a positive experience for students and their families.
**Working Conditions**:
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Occasional travel for meetings or events.
