**Job Title**: Plant Incharge
**Location**: Pune Maharashtra

**Position Overview**:
The Plant In charge is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the plant, ensuring production efficiency, quality assurance, safety compliance, and cost control. This role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and the ability to manage and optimize all resources to meet production targets.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Production Management**:

- Plan, schedule, and oversee daily production activities to meet production targets.
- Ensure optimal utilization of resources, including manpower, machinery, and materials.
- Monitor production performance and implement corrective measures to address any issues.
- **Team Leadership**:

- Supervise and guide plant staff, including operators, technicians, and support teams.
- Provide training and development to ensure the team’s skills meet production demands.
- Resolve workforce issues and promote a collaborative work environment.
- **Quality Control**:

- Ensure all products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
- Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to implement quality improvement measures.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and address potential hazards.
- **Maintenance Oversight**:

- Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure machinery and equipment are in optimal working condition.
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules.
- **Inventory and Cost Management**:

- Monitor and control inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Optimize operational costs without compromising on quality or safety.
- **Reporting and Documentation**:

- Prepare regular reports on production, quality, and operational efficiency.
- Maintain detailed records of plant activities, equipment performance, and staff attendance.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (preferred).
- **Experience**: Minimum of 5 years in plant operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Proficient in using ERP systems and production management software.
- Excellent leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and team-building abilities.

**Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)**:

- Achievement of production targets.
- Reduction in downtime and operational costs.
- Compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Employee productivity and satisfaction.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
