Job Title: Plant Incharge – RMC Plant

Location: Goregaon

Job Summary:

The Plant Incharge will oversee and manage the entire operations of the RMC plant, ensuring efficient production, quality control, resource management, and adherence to safety protocols. This role is critical in maintaining high-quality standards and timely delivery of ready-mix concrete while optimizing operational costs and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plant Operations Management
  • Supervise day-to-day production and ensure optimum plant performance.
  • Monitor production schedules to meet customer demands.
  • Ensure maintenance and smooth functioning of plant equipment and machinery.
  • Quality Assurance
  • Ensure the production of high-quality ready-mix concrete as per industry standards.
  • Conduct routine checks to maintain consistency in mix designs and materials quality.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Control team for regular testing and improvements.
  • Inventory and Resource Management
  • Manage raw material inventory like cement, aggregates, and admixtures.
  • Plan material procurement and storage to prevent delays or shortages.
  • Optimize the utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.
  • Compliance and Safety
  • Ensure adherence to environmental and safety standards in plant operations.
  • Conduct regular safety training sessions for the staff.
  • Maintain proper documentation as per statutory regulations.
  • Team Leadership
  • Lead and motivate a team of plant staff, including operators, drivers, and maintenance personnel.
  • Monitor staff performance and provide necessary training or corrective actions.
  • Customer Focus
  • Coordinate with clients and sales teams to ensure timely delivery and resolve operational issues.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships to address any service complaints or requirements.
  • Knowledge of concrete mix designs and production processes.
  • Familiarity with plant equipment like batching plants, transit mixers, and pumps.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
