**Key Responsibilities**:

- Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of ingredients and dishes according to recipes and established standards. This includes chopping vegetables, marinating, and assembling dishes under the guidance of senior chefs.
- Cooking: Assist in cooking and baking various dishes, ensuring they are cooked to perfection and maintaining consistent quality in taste and presentation.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Help maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, including proper storage of ingredients, equipment, and utensils
- Food Safety and Hygiene: Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards, including proper handling and storage of food items to prevent contamination and ensure food safety.
- Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring food supplies and informing senior chefs when stocks are running low. Participate in periodic inventory checks.
- Menu Development: Provide input and suggestions for new dishes, considering the cultural diversity and preferences of the guests.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and timely service during busy periods or programs.
- Adaptability: Be open to learning new techniques and recipes, and adapt to changes in the menu or kitchen procedures.
- Customer Service: Maintain a professional and courteous attitude towards customers and colleagues, promoting a positive dining experience.
- Safety Compliance: Comply with all safety regulations and procedures, ensuring a safe environment for everyone in the kitchen.

**Skills and Qualification**
- Previous experience as a Commis II or a relevant role in a restaurant or hotel is
referred.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology.
- Familiarity with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by the cultural centre's schedule.

**Salary**: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
