**Job Description**:
We are looking for a motivated Cybersecurity professional to join our GTM (go-to-market) Cybersecurity team as Cybersecurity Advisor. This person will report to the _Manager, Cybersecurity,_ with the primary responsibility of providing **information security assurance** to freshworks existing and prospective customers.

The objective of the role is to win the trust of customers and enable the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy of the company by objectively representing the information security posture of the company. This role is key to providing customers with adequate, contextual, and timely information about cybersecurity.

This role will work closely with the Customer and customer-facing internal teams such as Sales, Pre-Sales, Channel Sales, Customer Success, Customer Support, Deals desk & RFP desk teams, handling information security requirements from prospective customers and existing customers.

The scope of the role includes responding to RFPs, security, and data privacy questionnaires and handling calls jointly with other teams from the Go-To-Market functions. Given the wide range of time zones we cater to, the role members will be aligned to different time zones when required.

**Responsbilites**:

- Work with the customer-facing teams to handle information security requests from prospective and existing customers.
- Respond to information security questionnaires, inquiries, Queries, RFI/RFPs, and other due diligence documents.
- Participate in customer calls or discussions related to information security.
- Perform Contract Reviews (MSA, DPA, BAA, etc ) for the applicable/related information security obligations.
- Create reusable customer shareable collaterals based on customer requests for information security assurance.
- Provide required training and insights on freshworks information security to GTM teams.
- Have a balanced work-life integration.

**Qualifications**:

- 3-4 years of experience in information security compliance roles.
- Flexibility in working in different shifts/regions. This is absolutely mandatory because you will be expected to work in a specific shift.
- Prior experience handling a similar role in a SaaS company is desired.
- Knowledge of cloud security (preferably AWS) is a great plus.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Desire to continuously seek and update technical skills around information security in cloud computing as required.
- Desire to work in a dynamic, aggressively growing environment and adhere to a strong work discipline of responding to customers contextually and in a timely manner.
- Self-sufficient and able to work with little direct supervision.
