Hiring for Litigation - Real Estate

Educational Qualification : LLB/LLM

Years of Experience : 5 to 8 Years

Location : Thane, Maharashtra

Roles and Responsibilities

1.To handle legal cases initiated by and against the group entities in diverse Courts of law and / or forums of Alternate Dispute Resolution.

2.Coordinate with internal departments for their factual inputs, compile required documents and obtain in-depth understanding of the legal issues.

3.To review, investigate, research and analyze the legal issues and advice the Management on options available to file or defend the Litigation and strategize on further course of the legal action.

4.To coordinate with and brief external Law Firms / Solicitors / Advocates for initiating and follow-ups of the legal procedures and act as a single point of contact between them and Management.

5.To brief and assist the Solicitors / Advocates for drafting and filing legal pleadings and conducting trials / hearings of the cases. Attend dates of hearings before the Court and monitor progress of the cases.

6.To advice the Management to negotiate and settle matters amicably to mitigate loss of time and revenue.

7.Prepare and maintain the date-to-date progress of the legal cases and submit summarized monthly reports to Management

8.Litigation Profile to assist in-house legal team and outside lawyers in preparing cases, which include reviewing, preparing and in filing legal documents, such as affidavits, legal complaints and petitions.

9. In preparing legal documents, the prepared paperwork should adhere to legal standards and contain the correct/facts information as per by the outside lawyers.

10. Need to coordinate in-house teams including -Stores, design team, Project, Liasioning team etc wherever possible require and involve travelling pan India.Legal acumen and content drafting as per highest standard.
