We work with the most marginalised group of individuals, those who have disabilities, mental illness, critical illness or are violence-affected to ensure they have equitable access to education and economic opportunities. **Reports To**:Training Enabler

**Role purpose**: To play a pivotal role in Sol’s ARC training initiatives by delivering comprehensive training sessions to government school teachers and our partners on addressing 21 disabilities in inclusive education settings. This role entails extensive travel to government schools, ensuring effective implementation of inclusive education strategies and fostering employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities.

**Key Responsibilities**

Deliverable Outcomes
- Develop and execute training strategies specifically tailored for government school teachers and our partners to enhance their capacity in addressing 21 disabilities in inclusive education, incorporating the use of our student risk assessment app.
- Coordinate logistics and operational aspects of training sessions, including venue arrangements, scheduling, and budget management, with a keen emphasis on fostering inclusivity and employment opportunities.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, particularly government school authorities and our partners, to ensure collaboration and support for inclusive education initiatives while promoting the utilisation of our app for student risk assessment.
- Conduct ongoing research on disability-specific content and emerging trends in inclusive education to inform training materials and approaches, ensuring alignment with employment inclusion objectives.
- Facilitate engaging and interactive training sessions, utilising effective communication and presentation skills to capture and maintain audience interest, while emphasizing the importance of inclusion and employment opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment of training objectives with broader organizational goals and priorities, integrating the use of our student risk assessment app and promoting employment inclusion initiatives.
- Utilize our student risk assessment app during training sessions to demonstrate its functionality and benefits for inclusive education practices, fostering a deeper understanding among government school teachers and our partners.

**Person specification**

Qualification:

- Sp. Ed / B. Ed / M. Ed
- Proficiency in conducting training in English and Hindi

Prior Experience:

- Minimum 5 years in inclusive education at mainstream schools and training of teachers.

Essential skills:

- Communication, Public speaking, stakeholder management, Training and facilitation skills, Data analysis and report writing, budgeting,
- Excellent training delivery and methodologies that facilitate learning
- In-depth knowledge of Ms Office and strong online research skills
- Strong oral and written communication in English
- Strong knowledge of Special Education sector
