**Job Summary**:
The Guest Service Associate plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to guests at Blue Poppy Thakali. This individual will be the face of the restaurant, ensuring warm hospitality, prompt service, and personalized attention to all guests.

**Key Responsibilities:Guest Interaction**:

- Welcome guests warmly and guide them to their tables.
- Explain the menu, including specialties and recommendations, ensuring guests understand the Thakali cuisine offerings.
- Address guest inquiries about dishes, ingredients, and dietary preferences professionally.

**Service Excellence**:

- Take orders accurately and promptly, ensuring special requests are noted.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and beverages.
- Monitor tables and anticipate guest needs, refilling drinks, clearing dishes, and addressing concerns proactively.

**Upselling & Promotion**:

- Promote daily specials, signature dishes, and beverages.
- Upsell complementary menu items to enhance guest experience.

**Team Collaboration**:

- Work closely with the kitchen and back-of-house staff to maintain service efficiency.
- Support colleagues during peak hours to maintain smooth operations.

**Cleanliness & Hygiene**:

- Ensure that tables, chairs, and service areas are clean and well-maintained.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.

**Customer Feedback**:

- Collect guest feedback politely and address any concerns or complaints with discretion.
- Escalate unresolved issues to the manager as needed.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality-related qualifications preferred.
- Prior experience in a guest-facing role in the food and beverage industry.
- Passion for food, particularly knowledge of or interest in Thakali or Nepali cuisine.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills, excel and familiarity with POS systems is required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
