**SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES**

The successful person for this role will be highly experienced in SQL Server administration.They will have experience with:

- High-Availability design and builds using technologies SQL Server FailoverClusters
- Replication and Cloning Design and Solutions
- Database upgrades and migrations
- Backup recovery plans and execution
- Data integration (SSIS), analytics (SSAS), business intelligence (SSRS), and visualization.
- SQL Server on Azure: - IaaS and PaaS

**EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**

SQL Server DBA that has the following skill sets:
A minimum of **5-8 years**’ experience with the following is required:

- Experience in providing 24x7 support and on-call rotation.
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining high quality deliverables.
- Install and configure new Microsoft SQL Server instances.
- Should have experience in database design, installations, and conversions Responsible for database backup and recovery procedures, access security, and database integrity.
- Experience in Database Performance, Maintenance, and automate SQL server tasks.
- Install SQL Server service packs and updates.
- Configure and manage SQL Security settings.
- Make system design recommendations according to Microsoft SQL Server best practices.
- Good hands-on experience with all High availabilities (Log shipping, Mirroring, Replication, Always On & Clustering), DR planning & troubleshooting of all HA issues.
- Hands on experience in performing database version upgrades and Edition upgrades.
- Experience with SSIS & SSRS is a must.
- Extensive knowledge of SQL and SQL server tools.
- Hands on experience in migrating databases from On-prem to Cloud.
- Prior experience with any of the cloud services (AWS, Microsoft Azure) is a must.
- Flexible, team player, “get-it-done” personality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
- **MCTS, MCITP, and/or MVP certifications a plus.**

**Experience identified below are additional positives**:

- Supporting multi-site environment
- Experience with virtualization technologies.
- Experience with Idera, Cohesity and Commvault
- Experience with using ServiceNow.
- Previous MSP experience
- Experience with Azure, Oracle Cloud, Google Cloud, and/or AWS.

Pay: ₹1,800,000.00 - ₹1,900,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
