As an Insurance Executive, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing insurance policies, client relationships, and the overall operation of the insurance department. You will work closely with clients to assess their insurance needs, provide expert guidance, and ensure they are adequately protected. This role involves sales, client retention, risk assessment, and administrative duties within the insurance sector.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Client Relationship Management**:Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Understand client needs and provide tailored insurance solutions.
Address client inquiries, concerns, and claims promptly and professionally.
**Insurance Sales**:Prospect for new clients and generate leads.
Present insurance policies and coverage options to clients.
Close sales and achieve individual and team sales targets.
**Risk Assessment**:Evaluate client risk profiles and insurance needs.
Analyze insurance policies to ensure adequate coverage.
Recommend policy adjustments or additions as necessary.
Maintain accurate records of policies and client information.
Prepare and issue insurance policies and certificates.
**Claims Handling**:Assist clients in filing and processing insurance claims.
Work with claims adjusters to ensure fair and timely claim settlements.
**Compliance and Regulation**:Stay up-to-date with insurance industry regulations and compliance requirements.
Ensure that all policies and procedures adhere to legal standards.
**Team Collaboration**:Collaborate with colleagues, underwriters, and support staff.
Provide guidance and support to junior staff members if applicable.
**Reporting**:Prepare regular reports on sales, client retention, and other relevant metrics.
Provide insights and recommendations for business improvement.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Insurance Agent License).
- Proven experience in insurance sales and client management.
- Strong knowledge of insurance products and coverage options.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in insurance software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ethical and professional behavior in all dealings.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
