**Duties & Responsibilities**

Primary responsibilities of this role would include owning, tracking and resolving database related incidents, requests, and escalations.
Participation in design of database architecture for current and future products.
Writing code and performance tuning of complex stored procedures, functions and maintenance scripts.
Hands-on Experience on AWS or Azure cloud database services, experience in both is addon.
Troubleshooting and resolving database integrity, performance, blocking etc.
Strong knowledge of patching(security and upgrades), maintenance and automation.
Knowledge of performance tuning tools (Profiler, PerfMon, etc).
Responding to database related alerts, escalations and working with research/development teams to implement strategic solutions.
Capable of multitasking and working with a variety of people.
Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
Hands-on support of large databases, including, but not limited to, monitoring, re-indexing, general database maintenance, extract
- transformation-load, backup/recovery, documentation, and configuration.
Self-motivated, proactive, and solution-oriented individual
Work from the office is mandatory as this job is an essential service.
Able to quickly learn new and existing technologies
Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical capabilities.
Excellent oral and written English communication skills.

**Skills and Qualifications**

Experience in database automation tasks.
Experience in MySql or MongoDB database administration.
Experience designing logical and physical databases for OLTP.
Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
Proficient in writing complex and efficient SQL queries in a timely manner
Good experience with designing and documenting relational databases.
Ability to identify and troubleshoot Server related CPU, memory, I/O, disk space and other resource contention.
PL-SQL Development ability to write and troubleshoot SQL Code and design (stored procedures, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, constraints).

**Education & Experience**

BCA/MCA, BTec, graduation, Diploma in IT or in Computer Science or equivalent (software development or production operations experience in a large-scale environment).

**Salary**: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,402,265.06 per year
