About Children First:
Children First is a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service. It provides outpatient intervention to children,
adolescents, families and young adults till the age of 25 years with a variety of mental health concerns ranging
from neurodevelopmental differences and delays, academic to social/behavioural concerns and children in need
of emotional work.
We are located at B 18/9, Golf Course Road, DLF Phase 1, Sector 28, Gurugram, Delhi - 122002

Your role as an Occupational Therapist would include:

- Providing client and family-centred therapy - to young children and families in individual and group

settings, using evidence-based therapy modalities - both online & offline.
- Performing intakes and clinical assessments - interviewing families, observation sessions of the child,

using various tools and reporting. Assessment methods are a crucial part of our treatment approaches at
Children First.
- Delivering workshops & webinars - from ideation to execution. Proficiency in PPT & Excel is a must.
- Supervision - Internal training and external training opportunities for continued professional

development.
- Participating in peer super supervision models within the organisation to share and learn.
- We are looking for someone who shares our warm, authentic and child-centred approach to therapy.

Qualifications:

- Graduate / Postgraduate degrees in Occupational therapy
- Desirable: Certifications in sensory integration therapies/Oral placement therapies

About the Developmental Services:
The Developmental service at Children First emerged from a deeply felt need to provide a culturally and
contextually viable service model for children and families who came with subtle or recognizable differences in
their developmental trajectory. Over the years, it has grown to become a multidisciplinary service, with the deep
conviction that relevant professionals need to come together and work with an integrated approach with this
subset of children.
It now provides screening, diagnosis, intervention plans, direct intervention and monitoring of progress,
alongside family education and support, for children with signs of developmental differences, delays or a
diagnosis of any of the known developmental disorders. These could be Autism Spectrum Disorder, Sensory
Processing Disorder, Global Developmental Delays, Dyspraxia, ADHD, Down Syndrome and other childhood
concerns.
The centres comprise Developmental Psychologists, Occupational Therapists and Psychiatrists who work in
collaboration with each other to create an intervention plan based on your child’s needs.

The intervention model at the Developmental Centre comprises of:
1. Individual Therapy
2. Group Therapy
3. Psychiatric Consultation if needed
4. Parent & Family-Centred Work
5. Home plans and recommendations
6. Environment Modification

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
