Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments (developmental, cognitive, behavioral, and emotional).
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to children with developmental, behavioral, or emotional challenges (e.g., ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, learning difficulties, anxiety, etc.).
  • Develop and implement personalized intervention plans tailored to each child's needs.
  • Conduct parent counseling and guidance sessions to support family involvement in therapy.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to integrate support strategies in school and home settings.
  • Supervise and mentor junior psychologists, interns, and therapy staff.
  • Maintain detailed progress reports, records, and documentation in line with professional and ethical standards.
  • Stay updated with the latest research, assessment tools, and therapeutic approaches in child psychology.
  • Conduct/participate in workshops, training programs, and awareness sessions for parents, educators, and caregivers.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Master's / M.Phil / PhD in Clinical Psychology / Child Psychology / Counseling Psychology from a recognized institution.
  • Licensed/registered with RCI or relevant authority (mandatory).
  • 3+ years of experience in child therapy, counseling, and assessments.
  • Strong knowledge of standardized assessment tools (e.g., WISC, VSMS, BASC, ADHD/ASD screening tools).
  • Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as CBT, Play Therapy, ABA principles, Speech & Occupational Therapy collaboration.
  • Excellent communication, empathy, and family engagement skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working in schools, child development centers, or multidisciplinary clinics.
  • Strong leadership and team mentoring abilities.
  • Research orientation and ability to design new intervention frameworks.
  • Technological familiarity with digital assessments, tele-therapy, or AI-based child development tools (added advantage).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹35,000.00 per month
