- NIS, NIS+ / DNS configuration
- Patch management
- NFS / Automount configuration
- Recovery of Operating system from backup
- Server / OS Crash analysis
- Performance tuning
- Knowledge in other Unix flavors
- Knowledge in other domains such as Storage, Backup, Database, Middleware and network.

**Secondary Skills**
- Knowledge of Linux Administration (RHEL, CentOS, Suse, )
- Knowledge of Linux KVM
- Knowledge of Satellite server
- Experince on defining, installing and maintaining IBM Power systems.
- Experience on VIO server installation
- Detail knowledge of Vscsi and NPIV technology
- Experience on Hardware management console installation and administration
