The Academic Counselor plays a crucial role in supporting students’ educational and personal development. This position involves providing guidance on academic plans, career aspirations, and personal growth, ensuring students achieve their academic goals. The counselor will work closely with students, faculty, and administrative staff to foster an inclusive and supportive academic environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Academic Advising**:

- Assist students in developing academic plans aligned with their career goals.
- Guide students through course selection, registration, and academic progression.
- Monitor and track students' academic performance and provide intervention strategies for at-risk students.
- **Career Counseling**:

- Provide career exploration resources and advice on career development.
- Facilitate workshops on resume writing, interview preparation, and job search strategies.
- Connect students with internship and job opportunities relevant to their field of study.
- **Personal Development**:

- Offer support and resources for students dealing with personal, social, or academic challenges.
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address personal issues affecting academic performance.
- Refer students to external support services and resources as necessary.
- **Student Engagement**:

- Organize and participate in orientation programs, open houses, and other student engagement activities.
- Promote student involvement in campus activities and organizations to enhance their college experience.
- Advocate for student needs within the institution.
- **Collaboration and Liaison**:

- Work closely with faculty to identify students needing additional academic support.
- Coordinate with other student services departments to provide comprehensive support.
- Serve as a liaison between students and various institutional departments.
- **Administrative Duties**:

- Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions and student progress.
- Prepare reports on student academic performance and counseling activities.
- Stay informed about institutional policies, educational trends, and best practices in counseling.
- **Professional Development**:

- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay updated on counseling techniques and educational policies.
- Attend conferences, workshops, and training sessions relevant to academic counseling.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:
