**Job Location: Indore/Dewas**

**Reports to**: Finance Manager

**Job Summary**: The Credit Control Officer is responsible for managing and maintaining the company’s credit policies, ensuring that payments are collected on time, and minimizing financial risk. This role involves monitoring accounts receivable, chasing overdue invoices, and maintaining excellent relationships with clients while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Credit Management**:

- Assess the creditworthiness of new and existing customers.
- Set and review credit limits for customers based on financial analysis and company policy.
- Monitor outstanding accounts to ensure timely payments.

**Debt Collection**:

- Negotiate repayment terms with clients where necessary.
- Escalate long-overdue cases to senior management for further action.

**Account Reconciliation**:

- Regularly reconcile customer accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
- Coordinate with the finance team to ensure correct posting of payments.

**Reporting**:

- Prepare regular reports on outstanding debts, collections, and cash flow for management review.
- Maintain accurate records of collection activities and communications with clients.

**Customer Relationship Management**:

- Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with clients to encourage timely payments while protecting the company’s financial interests.
- Provide excellent customer service in handling client inquiries regarding their accounts.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a credit control or accounts receivable role (typically 2-3 years).
- Strong understanding of credit policies and debt recovery procedures.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
