**JOB DESCRIPTION OF EXECUTIVE CHEF**

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Executive Chef to organize the kitchen’s activities. The executive chef attracts and retains staff, maintains a cooperative relationship with team members, optimizes staff productivity, and serves as a replacement in team members' absence. You will train staff to use new recipes, cooking techniques and equipment, and oversee cooks performing food preparation. You will oversee the delivery of food supplies, prepare special dishes, and supervise overall kitchen operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Recipe Standardization**:Ensure all recipes are followed consistently to uphold quality and flavor standards.
- **Supervision of Kitchen Staff**:Oversee and guide kitchen team members, ensuring they adhere to operational procedures and hygiene practices.
- **Food Preparation**:Manage and participate in food preparation, ensuring quality, presentation, and timely service.
- **Inventory Management**:Monitor and manage inventory levels, assisting in ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
- **Quality Control**:Maintain the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and presentation.
- **Team Training**:Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering skill development and efficiency.
- **Cost Control**:Assist in budgeting and controlling food costs without compromising quality.
- **Problem Solving**:Address any kitchen-related challenges or conflicts promptly to ensure seamless operations.
- **Health and Safety Compliance**:Ensure all kitchen operations comply with local health and safety regulations.
- **Innovation and Creativity**:Contribute creative ideas to refresh the menu while respecting the brand’s vegetarian legacy.
- **Event Support**:Assist in managing special events, ensuring high-quality food and service.
- **Coordination with Other Departments**:Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth communication and service delivery.
- **Reporting**:Regularly update the Management on kitchen operations, staff performance, and any operational concerns.

**Skills & Requirements**:

- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent culinary skills and creativity.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹150,000.00 per month
