**Job Summary**:
**Roles and Responsibilities**:
Vendor Management:
- Identify and establish relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors for interior design materials, furnishings, and equipment.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure competitive and cost-effective deals.
- Evaluate supplier performance and maintain a vendor database.
**Sourcing and Selection**:
- Collaborate with the design team to identify the specific materials and furnishings required for each project.
- Research and source materials, furniture, decor, and fixtures that meet the project's design and budgetary requirements.
- Ensure that selected items align with the studio's design aesthetic and quality standards.
**Cost Estimation**:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for procurement as per the project requirements.
- Monitor and manage project budgets to control costs effectively.
**Quality Assurance**:
- Inspect and assess the quality of materials, furnishings, and equipment to ensure they meet the desired design and safety standards.
- Address and resolve quality issues or discrepancies with suppliers.
**-Supply Chain Management**:
- Coordinate and track the delivery schedules to ensure materials arrive on time and in good condition.
- Manage inventory levels efficiently to reduce project delays or overstock situations.
**Documentation and Reporting**:
- Maintain detailed records of all procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and delivery receipts.
- Provide regular reports to the design team and management on the status of procurement.
**Cost Negotiation**:
- Negotiate favourable terms, including price, payment schedules, and delivery conditions.
- Explore opportunities for bulk purchasing, discounts, or other cost-saving measures.
**Sustainability and Compliance**:
- Stay updated on eco-friendly and sustainable materials and products, and integrate them into procurement practices when possible.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to procurement.
**Client Communication**:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their preferences, budget constraints, and specific procurement requests.
- Communicate effectively with clients about the procurement process, timelines, and any changes or delays.
**Desired Skills Required**:
- Experience: Proven experience in procurement or purchasing within the interior design industry is highly desirable.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of interior design materials, furnishings, and equipment, along with an eye for design aesthetics and quality.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
**Basic Qualifications Required**:
Bachelor’s Degree.
**Experience Level Required**:
3+ Years
Pay: ₹27,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per month
