myNachiketa seeks to build a D2C brand that develops products to bring the knowledge of Gita & Upanishads to children. Children do not know ideas of Hindu Philosophy, which may be easily amenable to them through stories, metaphors and demos. We are designing innovative products including videos, courses, books, games, workshops, etc. and bringing them to the masses through various channels. Our method is to encourage kids to question and think of various different ways of arriving at answers, rather than developing a regimented thought process. Our goal is to rapidly grow into the market and reach every child in India between the age of 0-14 and gradually target all the kids in the world. We believe we have a unique opportunity since there is no large brand for Hinduism for kids right now.

**myNachiketa Research** is interested in a variety of data-based research in ancient Indian texts. It seeks to bring modern computer science techniques to the study and understanding of scriptures.

We are backed by a seasoned team who have built a 100 million dollar company and have substantial experience in product development, market fit and go-to-market. We officially started working from July 2021 and in just a short span of time we already have 18500+ followers across Instagram, Youtube and FB. We are well funded for the next three years and we want to do something remarkable for the young generation.

Job Title**:Engineering Intern - AI/ML**

**Job Description**:

As an **Engineering Intern - AI/ML**, you will have the opportunity to work with a small but highly motivated team and contribute to the digital accessibility of ancient texts for research and collaborations. Applicants with a background in engineering, experience in text parsing, web scraping, Natural Language Processing and a keen interest in language and cultural studies are highly preferred.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop innovative solutions for creating open digitization standards for ancient Indian texts by understanding domain and using computer science concepts of structured data, database creation and management.
- Work on creating an open collaborative platform to digitize the texts.
- Work with a team to start digitization of open-source documents in various formats and sources into open-standards.
- Use web-scraping, machine learning and NLP techniques to parse,correct data and convert in required formats.
- Create NLP and other scripts to create various views based on an open-database of texts.

**Qualification**:

- Pursuing bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team environment, is a must.
- Strong programming skills in Python or other relevant programming languages with experience in parsing and scraping tools like selenium etc.
- Knowledge of various NLP and OCR techniques is good to have skills.

**Skills**: Python, Scripting/ Web Scraping, Basic natural language processing understanding, programming, DBMS,SQL, Selenium, etc.
