**Responsibilities**:
**Design Development**:Research current fashion trends, materials, and techniques.
Develop design concepts that align with brand identity and target market.
Create sketches, mood boards, and design presentations for approval.

**Garment Creation**:Translate design concepts into technical drawings and specifications.
Collaborate with patternmakers and sample makers to produce prototypes.
Oversee the fitting and modification process to ensure quality and fit.

**Material Selection and Sourcing**:Identify appropriate fabrics, trims, and embellishments for designs. Establish relationships with suppliers and vendors for material sourcing.
Ensure materials meet quality standards and are within budget constraints.

**Trend Analysis and Forecasting**:Stay updated on industry trends, colors, and styles.
Anticipate future trends and incorporate them into design concepts.
Contribute to seasonal trend forecasting and collection planning.

**Collaboration and Communication**:Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing and production. Effectively communicate design concepts and technical details to relevant stakeholders. Collaborate with merchandisers to ensure designs align with market demands.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or relevant field.
- Proven experience as a Fashion Designer with a portfolio showcasing design creativity and technical skills.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Strong understanding of garment construction, pattern-making, and têxtile properties.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Up-to-date knowledge of fashion trends, têxtiles, and industry developments.

**Preferred**:

- Experience working with different clothing categories (e.g. Kids wear and Womens wear).
- Knowledge of sustainable and ethical practices in fashion design.
- Multilingual proficiency (depending on the market reach).
