**Position**: OT Technician - Scrub Side
**Location**: Sunrise Hospital, Kalindi Colony
**Department**: Operation Theatre
**Reporting To**: OT In-Charge / Surgeon

**Job Summary**:
The OT Technician (Scrub Side) plays a critical role in the surgical team by maintaining a sterile environment, preparing the operation theatre, assisting surgeons during procedures, and ensuring proper handling of surgical instruments.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Pre-Operative Duties**:

- Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments, drapes, and equipment.
- Arrange OT tables and instruments as per the surgery plan.
- Ensure availability of surgical packs and sutures before procedures.
- Check all OT equipment (lights, suction machines, cautery, etc.) before surgery.
- **Intra-Operative Assistance**:

- Scrub in with the surgical team following proper aseptic techniques.
- Hand instruments and supplies to the surgeon and assistants during the procedure.
- Maintain the sterile field and ensure no breach of sterility.
- Assist in tissue retraction, suction, and handling specimens.
- **Post-Operative Duties**:

- Collect and count instruments, sponges, and needles post-surgery.
- Dispose of biomedical waste as per infection control norms.
- Assist in transferring patients to recovery rooms.
- Clean and restock the OT for the next surgery.
- **Documentation and Compliance**:

- Record usage of surgical instruments and implants.
- Maintain logs of sterilization and equipment checklists.
- Follow hospital policies on infection control and patient safety.
- **Coordination**:

- Coordinate with surgeons, anesthetists, and circulating nurses.
- Assist in emergency surgeries on a rotational basis, including night shifts if required.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or Certification in OT Tech

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
