**Job Title**: OT Scrub Nurse / OT Scrub Technician
**Location**: Sunrise Hospital, Kalindi Colony
**Department**: Operation Theatre
**Reporting To**: OT Incharge / Nursing Superintendent / Surgeon

**Job Summary**:
The OT Scrub Staff is responsible for maintaining sterility during surgical procedures and assisting the surgical team by preparing and passing instruments, supplies, and equipment. They play a critical role in ensuring patient safety and supporting the surgical team during operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Pre-Operative Duties**:

- Prepare and arrange surgical instruments, sutures, and supplies.
- Ensure sterility of all instruments and surgical packs.
- Assist in positioning and draping of patients.
- Verify patient identity and procedure with the surgical team.
- **Intra-Operative Duties**:

- Maintain aseptic technique throughout the procedure.
- Hand instruments and supplies to surgeons promptly and efficiently.
- Monitor surgical field and respond to surgeon’s needs.
- Handle surgical specimens with proper labeling and documentation.
- **Post-Operative Duties**:

- Count instruments, sponges, and needles before and after surgery.
- Clean and disinfect OT after procedures.
- Prepare instruments for sterilization and send to CSSD.
- **Documentation and Coordination**:

- Record all relevant details of the surgery in OT records.
- Coordinate with anesthesia team, circulating nurses, and recovery room staff.
- Report malfunctioning equipment or OT hazards.
- **Compliance and Hygiene**:

- Adhere to infection control policies and hospital protocols.
- Ensure proper hand hygiene and PPE use.
- Maintain a sterile and safe OT environment.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Education**: Diploma in OT Technology / B.Sc. Nursing / GNM with OT training
- **Experience**: Minimum 1-3 years in OT scrub role preferred
- **Skills**:

- Knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with infection control standards

**Working Hours**:
As per hospital shift schedule (may include emergency/night dutie

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
