Sample responsibilities for this position include:
Performs preventive maintenance and repair on all switchgear control circuits, generators, contactors and relays in accordance with procedures and manufacturers’ recommendations

Tests and repairs all safety circuits in generator and control units

Communicate with external and internal customers in a professional manner concerning all pertinent machine data that impacts the user's ability to run equipment or systems

Assist vendors during retrofits, modifications, or implementation of equipment methodology

Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical and electronic systems on all production and related equipment to component level

Read, understand, and use complex industrial mechanical, electrical and electronic schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals

Proficient in the utilization of multimeters, meggers, oscilliscopes, frequency generators, data loggers, and assorted hand tools and documentation of measurements

Perform electrical repairs in accordance with National Electric Code (NEC), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA-70E), local government code, and Occupational Safety and Hazards Association OSHA guidelines

Mentor Maintenance Mechanics by motivating, providing guidance and directions to help them achieve their goals

Actively engaged in safety, participating in safety programs, safety activities, perform risk assessments and demonstrate ownership leadership in personal safety of other team members
