- Bangalore/Bengaluru
- Hands on experience on any of the data repository platforms including Cloudera, IBM, HPE, Azure, GCP etc. along with services including Kafka, Cloud Data Flow, Pig, Hive/Impala, Sqoop, Oozie, Azure Synapse, Big Query etc.
- Knowledge of ETL tools like SAS, Informatica Big Data Studio or Talend is required.
- Knowledge of Analytics and BI tools like SAS, IBM, Spark, QLik, Tableau, Power BI is required.
- Knowledge of Enterprise DBs like PostgreSQL, Microsoft, Oracle, Vertica will be a plus.
- Exposure on installation, deployment and administration of large clusters.
- Extensive hands on experience working with very large data sets and unstructured data, including data cleansing/transformation.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to analyze and break problems down logically and independently to formulate several solutions options.
- In-depth hardware and software knowledge and experience, especially with respect to storage systems, parallel and network file systems and Linux.
- Collaborate with industry experts to define the data modeling goals for designated project areas.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to produce high quality outputs.
- Plan and schedule computing, research and reporting activities in order to meet established timetables and objectives.
- Effectively communicate about assigned project tasks when called upon to do so at project meetings and presentations.
- Team player, ability to effectively work in a team environment to complete project tasks. Present yourself in a professional manner.
