Project Coordinator in Construction

**Project Coordinator - Construction & Development**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Maintain and monitor project plans, schedules, budgets, and expenditures.
- Organize, attend, and actively participate in client, contractor, and consultant meetings.
- Document meeting discussions and follow up on important actions and decisions.
- Prepare necessary presentations and supporting materials for project meetings.
- Coordinate with internal architecture teams and external liaison architects to manage and obtain NOCs from Fire Authority, BMC, and other government agencies.
- Review drawings to ensure MEP services are aligned with approved authority requirements.
- Monitor project deadlines, identify bottlenecks, and work with the consulting project management team to resolve them.
- Provide administrative and operational support as required.
- Assess project risks and issues and implement appropriate solutions.
- Ensure alignment of client, consultant, and contractor expectations towards the best project outcomes.
- Lead meetings, chair discussions, and distribute minutes to all project stakeholders.
- Finalize vendor and specialized agency contracts after thorough technical and commercial evaluation.
- Monitor critical project activities and advise the project management team proactively.
- Prepare and submit updated work schedules, cash flow projections, and monthly project reports (MPR).
- Resolve technical issues in coordination with employers, suppliers, subcontractors, and statutory authorities.
- Manage, monitor, and interpret design documentation provided by clients and architects.
- Set work programs and target milestones for each project phase based on the overall project plan.
- Optimize project costs and budgets, including reviewing consultant designs and material usage for efficiency.
- Provide value engineering recommendations to achieve cost savings.
- Plan and oversee the tendering and quotation process for contractor appointments.
- Prepare rate analyses, manage deviation statements, substituted items, escalations, and claims for extra works.
- Coordinate seamlessly across departments, including Design, Contracts, Liaison, Billing, and Project Execution teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project (MSP), AutoCAD, Advanced Excel, and other project management tools.
- Responsible for signing off certificates required for construction activities and submissions to MCGM/SRA authorities.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**:
- Strong project coordination and multitasking skills.
- Excellent knowledge of construction and authority approval processes.
- Strong technical understanding of design, MEP services, contracts, and billing.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage external consultants and contractors.
Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
