SAP’s ICA team serve as trusted advisors for our customers on technology strategy and digital transformation roadmaps. Our engagements focus on collaborating with our customers to create business process improvement roadmaps where technology plays a critical role. Increasingly, we are advising customers and prospects on technology-enabled innovations, intelligent automation, AI/ ML-enabled planning and business decision making.
At SAP, we lead with value and engage with our customers to establish the business impact that technology delivers. We work with customers across the solution adoption lifecycle to ensure realization of the business-case.
A self-starter who will take on the challenge to align with SAP India’s unicorns & digital natives sales strategies and help customers with solution advisory services - to enable them to accelerate growth, scale and pivot with agility, differentiate their business models with technology, ensure compliance as they realize their goal of listing in India and abroad.
**The Role**:
This is a customer advisory role where you will work with the Unicorns & Digital Natives sales teams across the entire sales cycle starting from door opening, demand identification and qualification, value & business process discovery, establish SAP’s value proposition, showcase solution capabilities through demos and finally support deal closure.
We are looking for solution advisors with a customer-first growth mind-set who will:
- Play an anchoring role for developing SAP‘s presence within the start-up ecosystem
- Generate demand through CXO pitches
- Lead customer engagements focused on defined strategic technology adoption areas
- Progress opportunities and execute deals as part of the sales team
- Champion for execution of our customer success model starting with landing the deal through to adoption and consumption of the software resulting in an expansion of SAP technology footprint
We believe, 10 + years of relevant experience in technology sales, consulting & advisory skills and value-oriented approach to customer engagements across diverse industry verticals shall be an advantage to be successful in this role.
**Ideally, you should**:
- Be proficient in technology-enabled business models of start-ups
- Have experience of working in the start-up ecosystem including VCs, industry bodies, funding & incubator networks
- Have relationships with founders and CEOs for door-opener conversations on technology and investment areas
- Have worked in customer facing roles with experience of handling business transformation conversations with unicorns and digital natives who have complex technology landscapes
- Have a broad understanding of SAP’s technology solutions portfolio in addition to SAP S/4HANA (e.g. SAP Business Technology Platform, HXM, CX, DSC, industry cloud etc.)
- Hands-on expertise in building business cases and value-driver based justification creation will be preferred
- Have very high proficiency in customer communications and be an excellent presenter in English (any other additional language a plus)
