We are hiring transcriber from Spanish to English

**Job Description**:
Responsible for reviewing documents to identify and correct typos, grammatical errors and ensure accuracy of transcription and translation. Applicant should be fluent in Spanish and English with a deep understanding of and sensitivity to Spanish culture. Exceptional proofreading and writing skills in both English and Spanish are essential to perform this job successfully. Most work consists of two speakers engaged in conversations. Dialects and speed of conversations vary, so the proofreader must be flexible and have keen attention to detail.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Proofreading English and Spanish documents for accuracy; proofread content for proper grammar and syntax, punctuation, spelling and consistency of language and style.
- Review copy to ensure it preserves the essence of each idea in each language.
- Handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information.
- Format documents to SpeakWrite specifications
- Clearly communicate questions and concerns with management
- Communicate corrections and expectations to original typist respectfully and concisely

Necessary Experience And Skills:

- Fluent in English and Spanish with exceptional proofreading and writing skills.
- Demonstrated experience translating and proofreading.
- Expert-level skill in grammar in both English and Spanish languages.
- Superior ability to identify errors in grammar, spelling, punctuation, capitalization, style, etc.
- Must have high attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Word

Monday-Friday 8:30-5:30 CS
- Applicant should be fluent in Spanish and English with a deep understanding of and sensitivity to Spanish culture
