**About the role**

The role is responsible for continually operating, monitoring, maintaining and evaluating the Votator, compressor and chillers working in shift with packing team. Closely look after cold room operations for consistent quality.
- Manages one or more machines that cool liquid margarine, or shortening, and knead solidified material preparatory to packaging: Starts kneading unit of machine.
- Opens valve to admit liquid material to cooling unit that solidifies it and to transfer solids to kneading unit that imparts smooth texture
- Observes gauges and adjusts controls to keep specified temperature and pressure of material in cooling and kneading units
- Turns valves to regulate flow of processed material into tanks of packaging machine.
- Responsible for routine maintenance of the machine (Fillers, Sealers etc.)
- Well versed in working with ammonia & pressurized vessels
- Well versed with the basic safety & food safety norms & standards
- Knowledge of cleaning lines and equipment, using pressurized steam and nitrogen gas
- Ability to handle the team of 6-8 people in shift
- Filling of the necessary/ mandatory shift reports and logbooks
- Knowledge of handling printing machine set ups (batch codes setting, errors trouble shooting etc.)

**Minimum Qualification & Experience**:
Diploma Engineer / B. Tech /ITI

Experience in Edible Oil Refinery preferred
