**Job Overview**

The Sales Officer will play a crucial role in launching and driving sales of our ready-to-eat healthy products through the development of General Trade premium outlets and premium retail chains. As we prepare to introduce our products to the market, the Sales Officer will be responsible for building both the distributor network and retail outlet relationships from the ground up. This includes identifying and on boarding new distributors, opening retail outlets, and ensuring optimal product placement and visibility at the Point of Purchase (POP). The role demands a proactive individual with strong sales acumen, the ability to establish key partnerships, and meticulous attention to detail in merchandising and network development.

**Key Responsibilities**

**1. Sales and Business Development**
- **Outlet Expansion**: Identify and engage new premium outlets and food retail chains to expand the distribution of the company's ready-to-eat healthy products.
- **Client Acquisition and Retention**: Develop and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing retail partners to increase shelf space and product visibility.
- **Sales Execution**: Implement sales strategies to achieve set targets, focusing on premium retail and general trade outlets.

**2. Distributor Management**
- **Primary Sales**: Work closely with distributors to ensure consistent stock availability, manage inventory levels, and meet primary sales targets.
- **Secondary Sales**: Drive secondary sales by ensuring effective distribution from the distributor to retail outlets.
- **Compliance**: Ensure that all distributor processes and outlet-level standards align with company policies, including pricing, promotions, and product placements.

**3. Merchandising and Point of Purchase Management**
- **Product Placement**: Ensure optimal product visibility and placement at all points of sale, including the regular restocking of shelves and maintaining neat displays.
- **Promotional Activities**: Coordinate in-store promotions, marketing materials, and POP displays, ensuring proper execution according to brand guidelines.
- **Stock Monitoring**: Track stock levels at outlets, ensuring products are adequately stocked and available to meet consumer demand.

**4. Target Achievement and Performance Monitoring**
- **Sales Targets**: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets for both primary and secondary sales across all assigned territories.
- **Sales Reporting**: Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance, new outlet openings, and market trends to the ASM.
- **Market Insights**: Provide feedback on competitor activities, market trends, and consumer preferences to help adjust sales strategies and product offerings.

**5. Relationship Management**
- **Retailer Engagement**: Build and nurture long-term relationships with retail partners, ensuring ongoing collaboration and business growth.
- **Distributor Relationships**: Collaborate closely with distributors to maintain strong business partnerships and smooth supply chain operations.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in FMCG sales, preferably within the ready-to-eat or healthy product segment. (Age: Between 24 years to 32 years)
- Proven experience in managing general trade, premium retail chains, and distributor networks.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet sales targets under pressure.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with merchandising best practices and point-of-purchase management.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Must own a two-wheeler for travel within the territory.
