**Job description**

1. Co-ordinate with FSSAI, State Governments, Industry, International and Domestic Domain Experts and other stakeholders for Science based discussions, consultative workshops, seeking inputs and others

2. Develop publications, infographics, training modules on Classifications/ Definitions/ benchmarked Food Safety and Quality / risk based approaches/ Regulatory compliance in Alcoholic Beverage Sector

3. Carry out Scientific Technical Collaborative Studies with Industry.

4. Help in organising Workshops & On Line Training Modules to promote Science Behind Food Safety

5. Conduct workshops

6. Identify Global Best Practices for the sector and design and execute Technical Event Management (Identification of topics of current and global challenges and opportunities, Speaker Co-ordinations, Projections of the Institute, Background papers etc)

7. Organise and manage end to end Consumer Empowerment Activities

**Key Skills and Attributes**

1. Excellent Communication skills (Written)

2. Excellent Knowledge on Science of Alcobevs, Regulatory, Food Safety and Quality for the Alcohol sector

3. Good verbal communication skills able to engage with International experts, global agencies, FSSAI, MoFPI etc

4. Developing Scientific Position Papers / White Papers/ Publications

**Qualification**:

- Food Technologist/ Food Safety/ Food Science/ or Biological Science Post Graduate.

**Experience**:

- At least 10 years experience in Regulatory, Science and New Products in Alcobev and Technical Operations in the Alcoholic Beverage sector
- Good understanding of Science of Alcobev products
- Have National and International technical publications to his/ her credit
- Approved FoSTaC Trainer in Advanced Manufacturing
