Job Description: Account Executive at an Industry News Channel or Media Company

As an Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of the company and ensuring accurate bookkeeping and accounting practices.

Responsibilities: 1. Perform all accounting tasks, including managing financial records, monitoring expenses, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations, TDS, and GST.

2. Develop and implement forms and manuals for the accounting and bookkeeping team, providing guidance and direction for their daily work activities.

3. Proficient in working with Tally ERP 9 to maintain financial data and generate reports as required.

4. Demonstrate expertise in using Excel to analyze financial information, create financial models, and present data in a clear and organized manner.

5. Manage accounts receivable and payable, including raising invoices and processing payments in a timely manner.

6. Oversee the overall accounting and financial processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and accounting standards.

7. Prepare monthly management information system (MIS) reports to provide insights into financial performance and support decision-making.

8. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and provide financial insights for strategic planning.

9. Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

10. Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations, tax laws, and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices.

Qualifications and Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Account Executive or similar role in the media industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, TDS, and GST regulations.
- Proficiency in using Tally ERP 9 and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.

Salary Package: - The annual salary package for this position is in the range of 3.5 to 4.0 lakh, depending on qualifications and experience.

**Salary**: Up to ₹400,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Noida, Uttar Pradesh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Taxation: 5 years (required)
- Accounting: 5 years (required)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

License/Certification:

- Tally (required)
