**Job role**

**Job Title: System Administrator**

**Experience Required**: 2 to 3 Years

**Key Responsibilities**
- Install, configure, and maintain **Windows/Linux** operating systems and **Windows Server 2016/2019**:

- Deploy and manage **Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2016/2019**:

- Perform regular **security monitoring**, **patch management**, and **backup operations**:

- Administer **user accounts**, **permissions**, and **access controls** across the network
- Maintain and secure **firewalls**, **antivirus**, and **endpoint security** solutions
- Support and manage **network infrastructure**, including Wi-Fi, routers, IP management, and peripheral devices
- Manage **Active Directory**, **DNS**, **DHCP**, and **Group Policies**:

- Deploy, configure, and maintain **NAS storage systems** (preferably QNAP)
- Develop and implement **data backup strategies**, including retention policies and regular restore testing
- Monitor and ensure completion of backup jobs; perform firmware updates and capacity planning
- Integrate NAS backup with **virtualization platforms** (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Document internal procedures, IT policies, system logs, and maintenance records

**Requirements**:

- Strong knowledge of **system security**, including intrusion detection systems and data recovery solutions
- Hands-on experience with **virtualization technologies** (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Familiarity with **cloud platforms** like **Microsoft Azure** and **Amazon AWS**:

- Good understanding of **basic GRC principles** and **ISO 27001 standards**:

- Excellent **problem-solving**, **time management**, and **communication skills**:

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

**Preferred Skills**
- Experience with **QNAP NAS** systems
- Familiarity with **firmware upgrades**, **security patching**, and **capacity planning**:

- Knowledge of ITIL practices or other service management frameworks is a plus
