**Key Responsibilities**:
On-Premises and AWS Cloud Administration:

- Install, configure, and maintain physical/virtual servers (Windows, Linux, Unix) and AWS resources/services
- Manage server hardware, software, network devices, storage solutions, and backup/disaster recovery strategies
- Implement and maintain virtualization environments (VMware, Hyper-V), VPNs, and security measures
- Design and configure secure networking environments (VPCs, subnets, security groups, protocols)
- Monitor performance, analyze logs/metrics, troubleshoot issues, and optimize resource utilization

Automation, Scripting, and Infrastructure as Code:

- Develop scripts (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for administration tasks
- Leverage infrastructure-as-code tools (CloudFormation, Terraform) for resource management and deployment
- Implement automation for efficient and consistent resource provisioning and configuration management

Monitoring, Troubleshooting, and Cost Optimization:

- Implement strategies to optimize costs and resource utilization across on-premises and AWS environments
- Identify areas for performance improvements and resource right-sizing

Documentation, Collaboration, and Continuous Learning:

- Document system configurations, procedures, processes, issues, and resolutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate technical information clearly, and provide training
- Stay updated with the latest technologies, best practices, and industry trends
- Continuously improve skills and knowledge in system administration, cloud technologies, and emerging trends

Security and Compliance:

- Implement security measures (firewalls, antivirus, access controls, encryption) across on-premises and AWS
- Design and maintain secure environments following best practices and compliance requirements
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls

**Experience & Qualifications**:

- 3+ Years of Experience as System Administrator
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Professional, CCNA, RHCE, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator)
- Proven experience in system administration, network administration, and virtualization
- Strong knowledge of server operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix)
- Familiarity with scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching)
- Knowledge of security best practices, access controls, and compliance requirements
- Experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure management
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (CloudFormation, Terraform)
