In this role you will.

**Role responsibilities**
- Support a variety of database technologies with primary responsibility for Microsoft SQL Server
- Ensure security standards are properly implemented and maintained
- Bring forward opportunities for enhancement of database security and scalability
- Effectively manage capacity planning and requirements
- Perform Incident and Problem management duties

**You’ve got what it takes if you have**
- Expert at SQL Server database administration, troubleshooting, security, and performance.
- Expert communicator with both technical peers and executives in the US and India.
- Expert level understanding of and experience with Always-On Clustering
- Analyze databases, access patterns, and estimate capacity needs.
- Sound knowledge on Microsoft and Linux operating systems.
- Experienced with database encryption at rest and in motion as well as key management.
- Experience with diagnostic / monitoring tools such as Solar Winds
- Experience in evaluating, planning, and performing database server upgrades.
- Ability to document standard operating procedures.

- Experience with NoSQL databases
