**1. Public Representation**
- Act as the official representative of the organization in all media engagements, interviews, and public appearances.
- Convey the organization’s positions, values, and key messages clearly and consistently to the public and stakeholders.
- Be the face of the organization in press conferences, interviews, and public speeches.

**2. Media Relations**
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and media outlets to secure positive media coverage.
- Respond to media inquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring accurate and timely information is provided.
- Develop and distribute press releases, media statements, and briefings to communicate organizational updates and news.

**3. Crisis Communication**
- Manage communication during crises, providing clear and factual information to minimize reputational damage.
- Handle sensitive issues tactfully, ensuring the organization’s message is delivered accurately and with poise.
- Prepare and present official responses to critical situations and public controversies.

**4. Message Development**
- Collaborate with leadership and the communications team to craft consistent and effective key messages aligned with the organization’s goals.
- Ensure that all public statements, interviews, and speeches reflect the organization’s mission and objectives.
- Tailor messaging to suit different audiences, including the media, stakeholders, donors, and the general public.

**5. Public Speaking**
- Deliver speeches and presentations at public events, conferences, fundraisers, and meetings to promote the organization’s goals and initiatives.
- Represent the organization at official events and community engagements, ensuring a positive and professional image.

**6. Internal Collaboration**
- Work closely with internal teams (communications, marketing, legal, and leadership) to stay updated on organizational policies, priorities, and activities.
- Align external communications with internal strategies, ensuring a unified and cohesive voice.
- Provide media training to staff and other representatives as needed to prepare them for public speaking or media engagement.

**7. Crisis Preparation and Training**
- Stay informed of potential risks and prepare statements or responses for different crisis scenarios.
- Develop and rehearse crisis management strategies in collaboration with the communications and leadership teams.
- Conduct media training sessions for other organizational leaders who may need to represent the organization.

**8. Monitoring Media Coverage**
- Track and monitor media coverage, public perception, and the effectiveness of communications strategies.
- Report back to leadership with insights on how the organization is being portrayed in the media and make recommendations for improvement.
- Address any misinformation or negative press promptly and accurately.

**9. Developing Statements and Responses**
- Draft statements, speeches, and talking points on behalf of the organization for various audiences and platforms.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to approve and refine public responses to questions, issues, and public inquiries.
- Ensure that all statements are compliant with legal and ethical standards of the organization.

**10. Advocacy and Lobbying (Optional)**
- Represent the organization in discussions with government bodies, advocacy groups, or industry organizations.
- Actively advocate for the organization's interests in public forums and policy discussions.

**11. Brand and Reputation Management**
- Uphold and enhance the organization’s brand and reputation in all public engagements.
- Ensure that messaging is aligned with brand values and long-term objectives.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
