**Job Description**:
Job Summary
The LAB Maintenance Lead is responsible for managing server and network LAB Infrastructure ensuring its optimal performance and leading a team. This role will require handson server installation, configuration, upgrades, security patching, troubleshooting, maintenance of server and hardware components. In addition, the Lead is responsible for RHELESXi server administration in the cloud and DevOps environments.
Basic Requirements
**Responsibilities**:
Lead and Manage a LAB Team to maintain and upgrade the server LAB infrastructure.
Perform regular Patch management, software updates, system backups to ensure system availability and performance.
Monitor system performance and analyze system logs to identify and resolve any issues or potential problems.
Collaborate with various relevant stakeholders to design and implement new systems and upgrades to existing systems.
Develop and maintain documentation of system configurations, MOP procedures, policies, LAB setups, business continuity procedures to ensure consistency, traceability of LAB activities and adherence to ISO 27001 standards.
Provide technical support to LAB users and troubleshoot any issues as needed.
Manage LAB activities user access, resource allocation and LAB scheduling.
Conduct regular team meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Evaluate new technologies to improve LAB efficiency and effectiveness.
Ensure adherence to all LAB policies and procedures, including security mechanisms as per ISMS.
Develop and maintain DevOps practices and procedures to support LAB activities and operations.
Perform Functional and Nonfunctional Sanity in the MCPTT domain.
**Qualifications**:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field required.
1043; years of experience in server maintenance and support.
543; years of experience in a Lead role.
Strong knowledge of server hardware and software components, including operating systems, network protocols, configuring network routersswitches and virtualization technologies.
Experience with server administration tools such as Linux shell, VMWare vsphere, Powershell etc.
Experience with backup and recovery industry standard solutions.
Experience administering and maintaining servers in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure etc.
Experience in implementing cloud based CICD solutions and DevOps practices and procedures.
