**Job Summary**:

**Responsibilities**:

- Communicate the product vision and sharing product expertise with the agile team's.
- Work along with the Product lead to set priorities effectively, i.e. prioritizing the backlog, and ensuring that the team understands why the stories are in a specific order to maximize the team’s output.
- Elaborate/publish user story requirements in a timely fashion.
- Clarify user story requirements/answering team questions quickly and concisely.
- Create clear, testable acceptance criteria for stories.
- Participate in scrum team meetings (grooming, planning, review, etc.)
- Drive the agile team/s to break stories down into smaller stories that comfortably fit in a sprint and have business value.
- Actively work with agile teams to identify ways to increase velocity.
- Engage internal stakeholders and external contacts as needed to provide direction to the team independently of Product Lead/ Principal Product Lead.
- Drive maximizing the business value and quality output of the agile teams.
- Meet customers and prospects alike and using your expertise to represent FSS in front of industry.
- As the product champion, you will continually drive product adoption among the customer base and target market, understand pain points and problems and addressing them in a timely fashion, with a constant eye on maximizing the ROI for the product.
- Partner with marketing, product marketing and commercial channels to develop the go-to-market strategy.
- You will stay engaged with the sales team and articulate the value proposition of the product among customers and prospects alike.
- Maintain an intimate understanding of the payments industry and the competition to quickly identify opportunities and threats, leverage our strengths and overcome our weaknesses while influencing the overall FSS product strategy.
- Be the “go to” person for the product and shall work cohesively with the product development team, SaaS partners, finance, sales, sales operations, legal and the business analysts.
- Representing the market and clearly conveying the requirements to our internal and external technology partners.

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience required for the job**:

- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience
- 1 plus years of related experience as Business Analyst/Jr. Product Associate.
- Excellent leadership and organization skills
- Demonstrates strong accountability
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to operate as a change agent, influencing and driving action organizationally
- Good technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
- Strong problem solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job
- Good understanding of development frameworks, especially Scrum and working in an agile environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred
